4. Training on Fish Filleting and Freezing

Duration:

3 days

 

Course objective:

Aims at instilling skill in efficient fish filleting which ensures quality and maximum yield.  Aims to generate skilled labour in this and also help field extension workers to have a practical understanding of fish preparation so that they can demonstrate improved techniques to the smaller fishing communities.

 

Course contents: 

1.   Filleting of a variety of fish and sizes and freezing

2.   Video show on fish filleting.

 

Target group: 

Field extension personnel, Fisher persons,

Self help groups and Retailers.

 

Fees:

Rs. 500/- per head.
